The Electronic Signature feature provides an additional point of confirmation for actions within the system and ensures compliance with 21 CFR Part 11. It is used during the signing process of events, reports, pipeline actions, and member approvals.
How to Enable

Project Level (Project Edit Permission Required)
- Navigate to your project's dashboard
- Click on the Edit Icon located at the top right portion of the screen
- Click on Show Advanced settings
- Enable the Electronic signature by clicking on the ON option below "Electronic Signature"

- Enabling electronic signatures at the project level automatically applies the feature to:
- Pipeline
- Report
- Members

Event Level (Event Edit Permissions Required):
- Start by activating Electronic Signature at project Level
- Navigate to your pipeline
- Click on the Edit pipeline button to enter Edition Mode
- Click the Edit button for the Event you want to enable Electronic signature for.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Modal. You will find a "Require e-signature" option.
- Click on On for Require e-signature
How to activate electronic signatures for an event, and approving a pipeline with electronic signatures activated on project level
The use of electronic signature is recorded on the Audit Log. Successful attempts and Failed attempts are both recorded in the following entries:
