What information must be entered to publish a case?

Make sure to input the following fields to publish your draft case

To access your draft case, go to My Cases > Draft Cases

Click on the draft case you wish to publish. Ensure the following fields below have information.

TITLE, SUB-SPECIALITY & CASE DETAILS

  • Essential for publishing.
  • Input a TITLE and select an appropriate SUB-SPECIALITY from the menu.
  • CASE DETAILS: Please provide relevant case details without revealing the patient's identity. If you prefer not to include details at this time, simply enter a placeholder character or symbol. You can edit this any time after publication.

SUGGESTED DIAGNOSIS & FOLLOW-UP

  • These fields are optional.
  • Click the red button to add a suggested diagnosis or follow-up recommendation.
  • Input your text and also set your confidence level (1-5) next to the Suggested Diagnosis box in order to publish.

3. PUBLISH TO:

  • Post your case to the Global Community or a private Group.
  • If posting to a group, select the group from the dropdown menu.

4. HIDE YOUR CASE

  • If your case is posted in a group, you can choose whether the case should be visible or hidden.
  • To ensure your case is hidden, check the box located under the GROUP field.
  • A hidden case can still be shown in a collection or a quiz and found via the My Cases > Open Cases menu.

5. ANYONE WITH A LINK

  • To share your case outside of Collective Minds, select "Yes" to enable access via a shared link. Otherwise, only cmrad account users can access it if they have permission.

6. PUBLISH AS

  • To publish under your name, check the designated box. Otherwise, it will be published as "Anonymous."
  • Your ownership remains, visible under "My Cases> Open Cases," but others won't see you as the owner.

7.  ✅  PATIENT AND DATA PRIVACY

  • Before publishing, it is essential to adhere to our privacy guidelines to safeguard patient data.
  • Your case will not be published unless you check this box, confirming that no personal information about the patient is shared via the images or clinical text.

8. ONE LAST SUGGESTED STEP

  • Once all essential fields are filled, you're nearly set to publish.
  • Next, preview the DICOM images by clicking "Open review mode" at the top right. This prepares the viewer thumbnails, allows review of the default layout, and ensures no patient ID is visible.

9.  PUBLISH CASE

Tips:

  • All details can be edited again after publication via the EDIT CASE button.
  • Publish your case to enable the option to add further content via the "Add study to case" button.
