Look at annotations in a case

Follow this guide to easily navigate between annotations in a case.

1. If an image has one or multiple annotations inside it, a "pen" icon should appear next to the series in the sidebar to the left. The number next to the pen indicates how many annotations are inside the series.

2. To find the annotations, open the series in the viewer and find the pen icon again in the bottom right corner of the series.

The color of the pen indicates whether the annotations are visible or not:

  • Red pen = annotations are active in this slice.
  • White pen = annotations are turned off in this slice.
  • Grey pen = there are no annotations in this slice.

To switch annotations on and off, simply press the pen and click the checkbox.

3. A series can have multiple annotations on different slices. To easily navigate and locate slices with annotations, simply use the arrows located above or below the pen icon. By doing so, the viewer will automatically jump to the next slice containing an annotation.

The scrollbar also highlights where annotations are located in the image by showing a slightly thicker white line on the slice containing an annotation.
