Notifications

Notifications are a supportive feature that send messages to users or stakeholders to inform them about the completion of events in the pipeline or other relevant updates.

Notifications keep you updated about specific actions taken within your project and pipeline through various communication channels. You have the flexibility to configure these notifications in two channels:

  • Web App, in CMRAD notifications section
  • Email, sent to the address associated with your CMRAD account

How to Enable a project to send notifications

This configuration is controlled by users with Project Edit Permissions, providing a centralized system for managing notifications across the entire project. When enabled, notifications will be sent out based on the defined triggers. However, if this setting is turned off, no notifications will be sent, regardless of the existing triggers.

Enabling Web App notifications is highly recommended, as it allows you to take full advantage of the notification features. This option offers a detailed view of each notification and consolidates them in one convenient location for your project.

*Currently Mobile App notifications cannot be enabled.
