Consider the following factors that may affect upload success:
1. JPEG folder + DICOM Folder combination.
Do not include a JPEG version of the study when uploading your DICOM case, as this is not currently supported. Instead, open your exported study folder, locate and upload only the folder containing the .dcm files.
2. Password-protected Zip files
If uploading a ZIP file ensure that it is not password protected.
3. Non-English text characters
Ensure that your upload folder name contains only English keyboard characters.
Replace any non-English text with English text.
4. Existing Case Check
Uploading a case with identical patient identifiers, such as Patient ID and Study Date, may prompt a message notifying you that the study already exists in the database.
5. Prior Anonymization
If your DICOM case has been anonymized before uploading to CMRAD, aggressive anonymization methods in some systems may cause upload issues. If feasible, upload the case without prior anonymization. Safe and effective anonymization methods will be applied on Collective Minds to preserve essential data and ensure full functionality.
6. VPN and Institutional Network Security
Uploading your case via a VPN or an institutional network might limit upload performance due to network security permissions, bandwidth constraints, and other factors such as firewall settings or proxy configurations.
7. Supported File Types
CMRAD supports DICOM (.dcm), PDF, JPEG, and PNG file types.
For optimal performance and compatibility, Google Chrome is recommended.
8. Data Size and Limitations
The current limit for a case on CMRAD is 5GB.
