The site section shows all sites that are included in the project along with a project site ID, status (OnBoarding, Qualified) and attached members.
An example of two sites attached to a project
A project site may be affiliated with subjects and project members. Project members having a role with site scope only have access to subjects affiliated with their own site. By using different sites for different project members with site scope roles, it is possible to limit access to project subjects and data in a granular manner. Sites and the site scope are thus powerful tools in constructing projects where one wants to divide subjects and their data into sub-groups, with controlled access for some project members.
Add Project Site and Attach Project Member
A site that exists in the repository can be added to a project and attached to subjects and project members (more information about sites and how to add a site to a repository can be found here). When adding a site to a project, you select the site from a list of sites existing in the repository (see below).
Adding a site on project level, selecting from the added repository sites.
When a site from the repository has been selected in the dropdown-list, it is mandatory to add
- Project Site ID - this identifier is unique to the project.
Please note that it is the Project Site ID that will appear in the results table upon export. - Site Status - select either Onboarding or Qualified; this indicator serves as a helpful reference and does not affect the site's functionality within the project.
You can add a project member to the site. A project member with a role with site scope who has been attached to a site can only see and interact with subjects and data attached to that site.

Attach Subjects to a Project Site
To attach a project subject to a project site, simply choose the site when creating the subject (see below), or press the "Pen"-button in the Actions to attach a site to an existing subject.
Edit a Project Site
A site can be edited on project level by pressing the Pen-button under "Actions" in the Sites-tab. It is possible to e.g. change the site status from "Qualified" to "OnBoarding" and to add new project members to the site. By clicking the trash can icon a site can be removed from the project, given it has no data in the project.

Site Status
Project sites can have statuses OnBoarding and Qualified. The status of the site does not affect its affiliated members or subjects, but is mainly an administrative tool for the Project Owner.
