As a project Reader, you will likely work from the project tasklist or possible the pipeline, and mainly use the platform image viewer and the eCRF tool. This guides aims to acquaint you with these tools and the typical Reader workflow.
The Reader role is a given role in any project where image review is included. The Reader might be assigned to one or several events in the pipeline. The Reader is typically not involved in the project setup and management.
This page is intended for Readers with an existing CM Platform account. For readers having received a platform invitation email but have yet to set up their account, please refer to the page Quick Guide - Invitation.

Navigating a Typical Reader Task
- In this example, we are starting a typical Reader task, which is reviewing DICOMs and filling out a eCRF. Having entered the task, you will be presented with a view similar to the below. Here, you can see a Databrowser module, containing a previously uploaded DICOM study and a previously filled in eCRF for viewing. By pressing the "Expand Study/Form" buttons, you can view all series of the study as well as the complete form, as shown below. Under the Databrowser you can find another, not yet completed eCRF "Emblas Test Form", to be completed in the current task by inspection of the DICOM studies.
- The next step is to open the viewer to inspect the DICOM studies and to fill out the eCRF. By opening the viewer and the eCRF in separate windows, you can work with them side-by-side, as shown below. The task is completed by pressing "Sign" in the rightmost corner and leaving a comment. Once the task is signed, one of two things will happen:
- If you are working from the tasklist, you will be redirected to the tasklist. There you can navigate to "Completed tasks" to confirm
